¶¶ÒõPro Wrestling Returns to Providence Performing Arts Center

¶¶ÒõPro Wrestling took on the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals at Providence Performing Arts Center

It’s not every day that a regulation NCAA Wrestling mat gets rolled out onto the stage at Providence’s historic Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC). Saturday night brought collegiate wrestling to the former movie palace that typically hosts Broadway shows, concerts and comedians. The third-ranked Wildcats took on the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals, ranked #7 in NCAA Division II.

The Cardinals came out on top for the night, 23-13. Wheeling Jesuit’s overall ranking jumped to 7-2, while ¶¶ÒõPro dropped to 6-3. You can get more details on the match from .

Culinary student Juliet Faas covered the Showdown on Saturday night, from the pre-match preparations to the half-time entertainment featuring , Ataxia and even Wildcat Willie.
